25th
Nov: Developing and building
a brand for you, your business or destination (full day - £99
+ VAT)
Ideal
for: anyone
who's forever hearing the word "brand" bandied about
but who's not quite sure what it means to them and how they
can benefit. This workshop is as relevant to individuals and small
businesses as it is to large ones and destinations.
How
you will benefit: We'll
take the mystery out of branding, show you how it's not just
about logos and how branding can be used to build your business.
You'll even learn how personal branding can help you in your
career.
What you will learn: Branding
has been around for many years but now it's more important than
ever before. Traditionally brands and branding techniques have
been associated with fast moving consumer good companies (FMCG).
Today tourism destinations and businesses are also using the principles
and techniques of branding to gain a competitive edge.
The building a brand workshop will be in 2 sessions. The first
will explore what is meant by branding and how the theory of branding
can be put into practice to add value to your business or destination.
It will also touch on how you can use the techniques to develop
a brand for you.
The
session will be participative and include practical exercises
so that you can start the process of developing and implementing
your company/destination/personal brand as soon as you leave the
workshop.
We'll
then go on to consider the new brands for London, England and
Britain, how they were developed, the research behind them,
what it means for you and how you can benefit from using these
as the backdrop to your
marketing.
Brands
are big business. But you don’t have to be a big
business to have a brand. Book now!
